The Ottawa Fury will be without Oliver and Nicki Paterson because they are serving a one-match suspension due to yellow card accumulation from the 2014 season, Also Mauro Eustaquio will join them because he is serving a single-game suspension following his red card in the season finale against Fort Lauderdale.
Marc Dos Santos comments on todays match: “We believe that we have put ourselves in a position to achieve our goals this season that start with our first game in Carolina,” said Dos Santos. “Having all of the guys in for a full pre-season has been fantastic. We have built chemistry, the guys have an understanding of our model of play and are confident is what we are asking of them.”
“Carolina is a good team – we know their strengths, but we also know their weaknesses. We need to approach this game with a calm and focused mentality.”
Julian de Guzman will make his Fury debut against the Railhawks . It will be interesting to see how he fits in with the team.
