There’s no guarantee he’s in the starting lineup, so I would say that if you are comfortable with your first sub, go for it. Otherwise, you’re taking a bit of a gamble.

Speaking of gambles, I’m leaving Mix alone until I see how NYCFC looks in MLS play. Their opening schedule is pretty decent, but remember that you’ll probably lose Mix early, either for international call-ups or NYC’s week 5 bye.

Definitely not. You’re not expecting any of the players at $4.0-4.5 to seriously produce for you, so there’s no harm in bringing in the kid and seeing what happens if it’s not going to cost you anything.
