Total-MLS Presents: MLS Mascot Competition

Major League Soccer’s season is rolling along heading towards the playoffs and as we hear news of trades and signings and the latest game results, sometimes we need a break. Enter the big furry creature made to brighten kid’s days. That’s right, mascots. Whether you love them or absolutely hate them, mascots are around and they will make your kids smile (or cry).

Yes, Manchester United also have a mascot

We’re guessing a majority of people have no idea what the MLS mascots look like. Well, we’re here to shine some light on these “creatures” and also determine who is the best mascot in MLS. So get your team’s fans ready to get out and vote for your mascot. Unless you’re a New York Red Bulls, Philadelphia Union, Toronto FC, or Seattle Sounders fan. You’re team doesn’t have an official mascot (as of this writing, if you know of one of these teams having a mascot, email us totalmls@gmail.com).

Starting tomorrow, we will unveil the matchups for the first round in this bracket style competition and will open the voting for all of the first round matchups. So check back tomorrow and find out all of the MLS mascots and choose your favorites. Voting for each matchup will last 3 days and the deadline will be noted in each post.
