MLS Daily – February 13, 2015

MLS:

It’s hard to believe, but today has been a pretty slow day for soccer news in MLS. It seems like most people have been dissecting the fallout of Commissioner Garber’s letter to the City of Las Vegas stating that it won’t be considered for an expansion franchise until after 2018.

Many soccer fans are now debating, of those left, who should make it, and different scenarios that could happen – especially with the situation down in Miami still in limbo.

In other expansion news, the March 8th match between newcomers Orlando City SC & New York City FC has sold over 40,000 tickets. With the CBA still not in agreement, this game could possibly be in danger of being played on opening weekend. We’ll keep you posted on CBA news as we get it here on total-mls.com.
