MLS Daily – March 31, 2015

It’s been a couple weeks since MLS Daily came out. Sorry folks, work got crazy. So, without further adieu, here are some MLS notes to look over:

MLS:

  • DC’s mascot, Talon, got a makeover.
  • This Seattle vs Houston game poster is awesome!
  • MLS Player of the Month for March voting is now up!
  • Houston will run soccer operations of new USL franchise, the Vipers, in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.
  • Is the field at Yankee Stadium too small?

USMNT:

If you haven’t seen the news, University of California at Berkeley men’s soccer team lost a teammate, Eloi Vasquez. He reportedly attempted to run across the eastbound lanes of the 10 freeway, as a car traveling at 60 miles per hour struck him. On behalf of the writers of Total-MLS, we send our sincere thoughts and prayers to his family, team, and friends for their loss.
