Week 12 Major League Soccer action is right around the corner as the run of mid-week matchups continues with the Revolution travelling to the heart of the country to battle Sporting KC. Last week I squeaked out a .500% prediction rate going 5 for 10. With the Colorado and Sporting KC match being postponed, I feel like I would have been over the hump. Damn you, Soccer Gods! Let’s see how my predictions go this week…
NE @ SKC – SKC WIN
Chicago @ Columbus – Columbus WIN
Houston @ LA – LA WIN
Portland @ Toronto – TIE
DC @ NE – TIE
FCD @ Montreal – FCD WIN
Vancouver @ Colorado – TIE
Sporting KC @ Seattle – Seattle WIN
NYCFC @RSL – RSL WIN
Philadelphia @ RBNY – TIE
Orlando @ SJ – SJ WIN
What 2 Watch 4
News around the campfire points to Robbie Keane making his return to the Galaxy lineup this weekend. That should be a big boost for the club, especially after such an abysmal performance last week against Orlando. The Union travels to Red Bull Arena, in what should be a spirited Eastern Conference affair. How will RSL bounce back after their recent thrashing from Montreal? NYCFC at Rio Tinto Stadium may just be the remedy Nick Rimando & Company need. Who do you have winning this week? What match are you most looking forward to checking out?
Lastly, as usual, below is my fantasy lineup for week 12. With the SKC and Colorado game being postponed last weekend, my fantasy team was missing 4 of 11 players. Yikes! What do you think of this week’s new and improved lineup? How is your fantasy squad doing? Good luck to all!
