Week 13 is sure to be a treat for us Major League Soccer fans, with 13 games set to be played. While going 4 for 11 with my predictions last week, my fantasy team fared much more successful accumulating 92 points. Benny Feilhaber as my captain registered 40 points alone. Go me! What 2Watch 4
This week is the Battle of the Facial Hair, as Nat “The Beard” Borchers battles former teammate and fellow facial hair aficionado, Pablo “The Stache” Mastroeni in Denver. Borchers beard is now at epic proportions, on par with the likes of ZZ Top but Pablo’s 1930’s bad guy mustache is hard to beat. I originally picked this match to end in a draw, a result both teams seem to be fond of but ultimately I gave the edge to The Stache & Company at home.
It will also be interesting to see how the Revolution bounce back after having two key players given red cards this past week. Lee Nguyen and Chris Tierney will both be out versus the Galaxy due to their ejections. Do the Revs have enough depth to battle the reigning and defending MLS Cup champions? Who do you have winning this week? What matches are you most looking forward to viewing?
Lastly, as usual, below is my fantasy lineup for week 13. I want 100 points this week, god damn’t!
