Week 7 MLS Predictions & Fantasy Lineup

Major League Soccer’s seventh week of action kicks off tonight with a special Thursday night clash between the Philadelphia Union and NYCFC.  How did my week 5 predictions go, you ask? Not so well! I scored 4 out of 10. Whoopsie! Let’s hope this round brings more success. Here are my predictions for this week:

Philadelphia @ NYCFC – TIE
San Jose @ NYRB – NYRB WIN
Houston @ DC – Houston WIN
Orlando @ Columbus – Columbus WIN
Toronto @ FC Dallas – TIE
Seattle @ Colorado – Seattle WIN
Vancouver @ RSL – Vancouver WIN
SKC @ LAG – TIE
New England @ Philadelphia – TIE
Portland @NYCFC – NYCFC WIN

Who do you have winning this week? What match are you most looking forward to viewing? For me, it’s Philadelphia battling NYCFC. The narrow pitch at Yankee Stadium has already proven to be a game changer. The second game of home and away series are always exciting, thus round two has the making of a true battle. Can Philly keep their momentum going? Will NYCFC get redemption? How will Jason Kreis and Jim Curtin handle their lineups with both playing two matches in 4 days? We shall see.

lineup week 6

Lastly, above is my fantasy lineup for week 6. Though my weekly predictions are in a downward spiral, the momentum is picking up for my fantasy lineup. I have reached scores of 60 or above in consecutive weeks. Say it with me now… “CHAMPIONSHIP!” What do you think? Who do you have on your squad? Good luck to all in week 6.
