We are a mere 24 hours away from week 8 of the 2015 Major League Soccer season kicking off. We have 18 teams competing in 9 matches as San Jose and Montreal have this weekend off. Last week in my weekly match predictions, I scored a very mediocre 5 out of 10 so we shall see if this is the week I FINALLY get beyond that .500% barrier. Here are my predictions for this weekend:
NYCFC @ Chicago – Chicago WIN
FC Dallas @ Colorado – FC Dallas WIN
RSL @ New England – TIE
Philadelphia @ Columbus – Columbus WIN
Sporting KC @ Houston – SKC WIN
DCU @ Vancouver – Vancouver WIN
LAG @ RBNY – TIE
Toronto FC @ Orlando – TIE
Portland @ Seattle – Seattle WIN

Talk about a phenomenal week of MLS action! We have some really fantastic matches in store. FC Dallas travels to Commerce City, Colorado to try and make amends for the 4-0 thumping they received a couple weeks ago at home. The Galaxy fly cross country to battle the unbeaten Red Bulls. These two teams have had some real clashes over the years, and even with less star power than usual, this should be a stellar game. And last but certainly not least, the Cascadia Cup as the Portland Timbers travel north to face their arch-rival Seattle Sounders. The national TV broadcast tripleheader on Sunday is appointment viewing. Grab some food, beer, friends, and a comfy couch. Enjoy 7 hours of MLS’s best teams!
Who do you have winning this week? What match are you most looking forward to checking out? And lastly, as usual, below is my fantasy lineup for week 8. What do you think? How is your fantasy lineup doing? Good luck to all!
