Galaxy Welcome Tired FC Dallas Looking to Continue Rise in West Standings

LA returns home this week to face off against a FC Dallas side that possibly could be missing 5 starters due to injury. While LA should be welcoming Leonardo back from the leg injury that claimed his 2011 season, Dallas will come into Home Depot Center with David Ferreira (foot), Ricardo Villar (foot), Kevin Hartman (back spasms), Andrew Wiedeman (sports hernia), Andrew Jacobson (Hamstring) either being listed as questionable or out at time of writing.

Edson Buddle and Robbie Keane

Dallas, coming off their 2nd of 3 games in 8 days, are 0-1-1 in that stretch and have only scored one goal, coming from a Brek Shea PK to help earn Dallas a point at home versus RSL. Meaning, LA seems to be coming alive at the right time of the season, with a 2-1 win over Colorado last week where the offense looked great and the defense…well not so bad.

I would expect a fast-paced game from both Dallas and LA. Dallas will be looking to attack the still-venerable back line of LA, while LA should be looking to take advantage of the missing starters with Keane and Buddle on the attack.  LA, however, should be giving a lot of defensive consideration to Brek Shea. The US National Team midfielder. Is tied for second on the teams gor goals and leads FCD with shots with 19. I would expect Shea to pick up the offensive slack along with Blas Perez, who will be returning from a one-game suspension.
