Impact End Road Trip With Zero Points

The Montreal Impact head home and end their three game road trip without gaining a single point. Montreal got a draw in their first MLS home match but have lost every road game thus far. Their record currently stands at 0-3-1. Even though the home-side Real Salt Lake played well under their “A” game form, the Impact were never able to make them pay.

Montreal lost to Real Salt Lake 1-0

Montreal striker and hometown kid, Justin Braun, committed a hand ball in the box in the 13th minute and gave the referee, Ricardo Salazar, no choice but to award RSL a PK. Paulo Jr. netted the PK and that was all his side needed to secure the 1-0 win.

The real question now becomes what is the Montreal fan base going to do if their team can’t beat a team that is also win-less in MLS play, in front of the home crowd and against a bitter rival, Toronto FC? Sound off and answer that question on Twitter.
