Union Trade Jordan Harvey to Vancouver

The Philadelphia Union traded left back Jordan Harvey to the Vancouver Whitecaps for allocation money. Harvey was picked up by the Union in the 2009 Expansion Draft from the Colorado Rapids. He has been a staple for Philadelphia, having featured in all but one of the Union’s 47 matches in the past two years.

Jordan Harvey

This trade seems a little strange as the Union’s back four have played well together this season. I’m assuming that one of the Farfan brothers will replace him in the starting lineup.
