This was an exciting match, the first match of the 2015 spring season. During the first half the RailHawks were in control. They were leading the attack in the first half. Shipalane scored the first goal of the game to put the RailHawks up 1-0.

The Ottawa Fury will be without Oliver and Nicki Paterson because they are serving a one-match suspension due to yellow card accumulation from the 2014 season, Also Mauro Eustaquio will join them because he is serving a single-game suspension following his red card in the season finale against Fort Lauderdale.

The Cosmos had a busy offseason with the arrival of Raul. They also completed the permanent transfer of Andres Flores. The midfielder, who spent last season with the Cosmos on loan, had a great season and the club bought his contract. Flores is the captain of the El Salvador national team and has a bright future on this club.

The Railhawks don’t have the biggest budget in the league but they have added some talented players. They also lost their starting goalkeeper Akria Fitzgerald to NYCFC. There has been a lot of change in this year’s Silverbacks. First off, their owners decided to leave and move on so the league has decided to own the club. The league is renting the stadium that they play in, Silverbacks Park, and the name.

The Jacksonville Armada preseason so far has been successful. They have played against the Charleston Battery twice, both times losing. They also faced the Philadelphia Union of MLS, they came out on top in that match. The Armada have also faced off against in state rivals the Strikers and won 1-0.
