On Friday (September 19 , 2014) the Fort Lauderdale Strikers were purchased by three Brazilian investors Paulo Cesso, Ricardo Geromel, and Rafael Bertani. The club held a press conference where we saw the NASL commissioner making an appearance and talking about to the ownership group and about the Strikers.

2013 will be a tough act to follow for the New York Cosmos. After entering the league, somewhat confusingly, in the Fall Season the Cosmos dominated throughout the second half, earning a Soccer Bowl berth and eventually beating the Silverbacks in the championship.
